I recently bought a reconditioned acer veriton 2800 ( pentium D 2.8 Ghz, 512Mb Ram), I asked them to upgrade the video card to allow operating two monitors, they installed Ati RadeonX300/X550/X1050 series ( I failed to ask if it would cause any problems). When I turned it on some parts of webpages/ programs were not visible, but when I move the mouse over them they appear. I did some reading and found out not enough RAM so upgraded to 2Gb, but the problem still there. I am pretty iliterate when it comes to computers so could someone tell me if this is an overheating issue. Also when there is major load on CPU the fan sounds like a jet engine.
Thanks for any help

Excessive/prolonged fan noise is an indicator of overheating. Match the heatsink/fan with your CPU thermal specification and ensure that there is appropriate thermal interface material between the CPU and heatsink. Other problems aren\'t necessarily connected to this fundamental problem.
